Stone is the fourth episode of De Slavernij Junior (Slavery Junior). Although child labor had been forbidden since 1874, there were hardly any checks carried out. Whole families were used to working at brickyards to earn a living. Under vehement protest compulsory education was established in 1901. Only then living conditions for children started to become better. At present children are, on the contrary, punished for not going to school.
