13 in de oorlog (13 at War) is an internationally renowned docudrama series by NPS on World War Two. Each story is visualised with archive footage, reportages on historical locations and enacted scenes, which revolve around a single child as main character. This way the audience experiences for example the beginning of the war as seen through the eyes of Dirk, a 10-year-old boy, who loses his mother during the bombardment of Rotterdam.
