The third episode of the youth series Kids of Courage (Der Krieg und Ich) revolves around 13-year-old Sandrine Morel from France. She helps take care of Jewish refugees in a small French village where her father is the local priest. She finds it difficult, however, to share her room with three completely unknown children, who are also getting her clothes! Her deepest fear becomes reality as her father is being arrested. Sandrine is faced with an impossible choice: should she denounce the refugees or let her father be deported?
