The Missing Baby is episode 25 (2 of the third season) of Spoorloos Verdwenen (Missing Without a Trace) by Holland Harbour for AVRO. The 4-month old baby of non-Dutch Meral Kramer is stolen, while she's visiting a drugstore. She's married to the injury-wrecked soccer star Matthijs Kramer, but is about to divorce him. Meral claims to be abused by her husband, but Matthijs denies and suggests checking up on her Turkish parents, who are fiercely opposed to their mixed marriage. The theft of the baby was unnoticed by shop security cameras, because the laundry service van of Brian Russell was blocking them. And he turns out to be in touch with a well known drug lord.
